The Floating Sensations launch sites are very well situated within the Berkshire countryside. On your flight you may cross county borders into Oxfordshire, Wiltshire or Hampshire. Each site can be located easily from the M4. The choice of launch site is determined by the wind direction on the day of your flight.

Hungerford Site (Pink Site)

Leave the M4 at Junction 14 and head south on the A338 signposted to Hungerford. After half a mile you pass cross a cross-roads and the 'Tally Ho' Pub. About a mile further on is the second cross roads where you turn left. The turn is signposted to Upper Denford and Radley. The entrance to the Launch Site is 200 yards on the right hand side.

Hampstead Norreys Site ( 5 Miles North of Newbury) Green Site

At Junction 13 take the A34 northbound towards Oxford. However, after only 300 yards after joining the A34 you take the first slip road signposted to Hermitage and Chieveley. Turn right off the slip road and cross the bridge over the M4. In Hermitage you will come to a T-junction. Turn left onto the  B4009. As you approach the village Hampstead  Norreys on the B4009 you will see a turning on your left signposted to Compton. Immediately after this you will go over a disused railway bridge. Turn sharp right into Hampstead Norreys Village Hall car park (the recreation field is our launch site)
